A strong supporter of The Bicycle Lounge and cycling in general in Riverside is one of the organizers of this event. He is a member of the Rotary International and is an avid cycling advocate in our city, including organizing incentive programs for kids to ride to school, building city bike-facility maps, and holding events like this to promote the bicycle as transportation.

With his help, The Bicycle Lounge will be setting up a booth at the event (contact me if you would like to be a part of it). Also, our friend Bob is a fixed gear rider (with a sweet Surly Long Haul Trucker), and when I told him about IEFixed and all that we’re doing, he was excited. He has already arranged a CASH PRIZE for the best looking fixed gear bike. $100!! So I encourage everyone to come on down and be a part of this.

Additionally, he is interested in helping us get fund-matching grants to support TBL —- which supports this site —- and he’s ready to bring the diverse groups of riders in the area together to make the IE a better place to ride. Please if you can make it, come out and show your support for what we do.
